Vinyl plays nicely (play-tested). Gate-fold cover looks great; very-light scuffing (front/back/inner-gate). Inner sleeve is original (album info); Merchandise form included. Spine is unbroken and easy-to-read. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge, slight wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use. (Not a cut-out.)

The song We Are the World was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian for the album of the same name. The song was an American benefit single for African famine relief. The album also included another famine relief fundraising song, Tears Are Not Enough, which was performed by Canadian supergroup Northern Lights. Prince and The Revolution recorded 4 the Tears in Your Eyes for the album. The title track was the only one released from the album and was a number one hit on the R&B singles chart, the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and the Billboard Hot 100, where it remained for a month. The single was the first ever to be certified multi-platinum, We Are the World received a Quadruple Platinum certification. Fans enjoyed hearing racially and musically diverse recording artists singing together on one track. Some of the artists involved were Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Kenny Rogers, Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Cyndi Lauper, and Bob Dylan.
